Dr. Rachel Leigh Collins, ND, MPH (she/her) is a naturopathic physician, public health educator, and Eastside Natural Medicine’s second-year resident. She specializes in pediatric and adolescent mental healthcare and pediatric primary care. Dr. Rachel is passionate about delivering trauma-informed care for pediatrics and adolescents as well as working with patients with sensory processing disorders, neurodivergence (ADHD, OCD, autism, etc.), and anxiety-related conditions.
Dr. Rachel's philosophy:
Utilizing my educational background in psychology, nearly a decade of teaching experience, and years of public health efforts, I understand healthy living does not simply happen with the snap of a finger as much as we sometimes wish it would. While we cannot always control the exact triumphs or challenges life throws at us...together, we can learn ways to begin showing up to life in alignment with our values, visions, and aspirations while creating lasting holistic changes for your health.
There is no greater joy for me than to watch a child express themselves authentically in the safe space we create together here at Eastside Natural Medicine. I firmly believe each child should have a voice when it comes to their own health. In order to hear that voice, I prioritize creating ample space for your child in our visits so that they can be heard and take part in creating a lasting relationship of trust, authenticity, and eventually, health autonomy.
When she isn’t in the office with patients, she is likely out rummaging the forest with her partner, playing with her cats, thrifting, or sipping on a good cup of tea.
Dr. Rachel serves on the board of Naturopathic Academy of Primary Care Providers (NAPCP), member of the Pediatric Association of Naturopathic Physicians (PedANP), Washington State Public Health Association (WSPHA), and American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP).
